Some love stories are years in the making, and Ali and Nick’s is one of them. After falling in love as teenagers at just 13 years old, they spent years growing together before Nick proposed at the beautiful Franklin Park Conservatory. On a warm June day, surrounded by the people who had watched their story unfold, they finally said “I do” at Old Barns at Dry Run Farms.

Their wedding perfectly blended rustic charm with timeless elegance. Soft sage green, blush pink, and white details complemented the natural beauty of the venue, while many of the florals were lovingly created by the bride’s mother, adding an extra meaningful touch to the day.

The morning began in the on-site Airbnb where Ali spent time getting ready with her bridesmaids, sharing laughter, matching sunglasses, and quiet moments before stepping into her gown from Twirl Bridal. Before the ceremony, Ali shared emotional first looks with her dad and grandparents. These family moments became some of the most treasured memories of the day.

Rather than seeing each other before the ceremony, Ali and Nick chose to exchange private vows without a first look. Standing just around the corner from one another, they held hands without seeing each other, sharing personal promises and soaking in the anticipation before walking down the aisle. It was an intimate moment that beautifully reflected the depth of their relationship.

Their outdoor ceremony overlooked the scenic countryside surrounding Old Barns at Dry Run Farms, creating the perfect backdrop as they exchanged vows in front of family and friends.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while we captured family portraits, bridal party photos, and romantic portraits around the property. The barn, rolling fields, and golden June light made every corner feel like it belonged in a storybook.

The reception was filled with heartfelt speeches, delicious barbecue from City BBQ, emotional first dances, and a packed dance floor led by DJ Q. As the evening sun dipped lower over the farm, Ali and Nick stepped away for sunset portraits, where the peaceful countryside and warm golden light created some of the most romantic images of the day.

After more than a decade together, Ali and Nick’s wedding wasn’t simply the beginning of a new chapter, it was the celebration of a love story that has already stood the test of time. It was an honor for the Oh Deer Collective photo and video team to preserve every heartfelt moment.
