There’s something about a September wedding that just feels timeless. The changing season, warm golden light, and deeper fall colors creeping in create the perfect backdrop for a wedding day that feels both romantic and effortless.

Scott and Abigail’s wedding at The Ponds Venue in Beach City, Ohio was exactly that.

With a color palette of burnt orange, navy blue, taupe, burgundy, and rich fall tones, their wedding day had a beautiful country-inspired feel while still feeling classic and intentional.

And their story is just as fun as their wedding day.

Scott and Abigail met on Tinder, and their relationship eventually led them to a vacation in Colorado, where Scott proposed during a hike after a Red Rocks concert. From dating-app beginnings to a beautiful fall wedding surrounded by their favorite people, it was a pretty perfect story to document.

Their wedding day was photographed and filmed by the Oh Deer Collective associate team, with Casey leading photography, Angel capturing video, and Amber joining as a second photographer to cover cocktail hour and provide an additional perspective throughout the day.

The Ponds Venue in Beach City provided the perfect setting for Scott and Abigail’s fall wedding.

The natural landscape, open spaces, and country atmosphere fit their personalities perfectly. Their day felt relaxed, genuine, and fun, while still giving us plenty of opportunities for those classic, editorial portraits we love.

Abigail was also an absolute dream in front of the camera.
